Cabbage Golden Acre/Primo II: Try making your own fresh coleslaw, sauerkraut, stew, hot-pot or a great addition to a traditional English roast! Cabbage is excellent for maintaining a healthy digestive tract. Full of important vitamins and minerals this vegetable is very versatile and adds texture, nutrition and flavour to many dishes.

Sow & Grow: Sow indoors 0.5cm deep in a pot of compost. Seedlings appear 14-21 days. Transplant to bigger pots 5cm when large enough to handle. Or sow thinly 1.5cm deep in a seed bed. Transplant seedlings 40cm apart when 10cm tall. Plant firmly. Allow 30cm between rows.

Flowers/Harvest: July - October
