The CHARGE-500 is a user-friendly, fast DC to DC Smart Charger, designed to charge your system while on the go. It is simple to install and has automatic voltage detection that enables it to function only when the engine is running to prevent any vehicle battery drain. The CHARGE-500 is built for road users with onboard power systems that cannot be charged easily from mains or solar.
It can however, work with solar in a hybrid setup.

The CHARGE-500 Smart Charger incorporates an intelligent DC voltage detection system that can be set to your requirements from 12V to 30V. It will work on with combustion engine systems form cars to commercial trucks and the kit is install ready from the box. No separate wake up signal is required as it can automatically detect the voltage from your vehicle battery when it increases on engine start. If the solar input is inadequate, you can be confident the Sherpa CHARGE-500 will keep your onboard power unit topped up while you drive.
